While the US market has changed in the past decade, it drastically went through sharp transformations in the past year.

Ten years ago, tech companies would need to have at least millions of dollars in yearly revenue to penetrate the global market. This situation later changed when markets grew.

Over-eager VCs and angel investors were also pulling firms from their home countries to get them to venture into new markets abroad at a faster pace.

But last year, the pandemic threw a wrench in the current financial terrain as it made entering into new market landscapes more challenging.

Though America is much sought after by tech companies and startups, businesses trying to make a dent in the U.S. market need to be able to navigate through difficult global situations and abrupt market transformations.
